    Project Description:
    The Khormoj Gas Pressure Boosting Station is located along the largest sour gas transmission pipeline in the world. This station, together with three other stations, is responsible for transporting sour gas (H₂S) from phases 6, 7, and 8 of the South Pars gas field to revive oil wells in the Aghajari oil field. The pipeline is 504 kilometers long and 56 inches in diameter. The station is known as IGAT5, starting from Asaluyeh, passing through Khormoj Gas Pressure Boosting Station, then Abpakh Station, and finally reaching Sardasht Pressure Boosting Station.
     
    Technical Specifications:
    The project includes the installation of 300 piles at depths of 35 meters with diameters of 1 and 2 meters; foundation and steel and industrial structures of all buildings; installation of cable trays and piping; construction of service buildings; ventilation system; grounding; intelligent BMS system; CCTV system; addressable fire alarm and suppression systems.
    Mechanical works include installation of turbo compressors and all auxiliary equipment (air filters, gas coolers, air coolers, air compressors, etc.) and tanks.
    All control room and substation buildings are designed to be explosion-proof. The piping works include all Process gas pipelines up to 60 mm thickness and all Utility lines.
     
    This project was delivered in 2011.
